Directions To Follow:
This recipe starts with leftover mac and cheese. Chill the mac and cheese in a square container, and then cut it into rectangles measuring about 1 x 1 x 7 cm. Next, combine the panko bread crumbs and parmesan on a plate or in a bowl with a low rim. Now, beat an egg and dip the mac and cheese rectangles in the egg before rolling them in the parmesan bread crumb mixture. Next, chill the mac and cheese rectangles for between 10 and 15 minutes, and then fry them in vegetable oil at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until they're golden brown. When they're done, just serve them with any sauce.
Finished!
This is definitely a new twist on fries, and we never would have thought of making them with mac and cheese. Trust us when we say these mac and cheese fries taste even better than traditional potato french fries.
Enjoy!
