Dress Up Your Noodles To Take Your Pasta To The Next Level
After trying this recipe I don't understand why I ever ate plain noodles in the first place. I mean, seriously, they just seem so boring after having enjoyed this recipe. I absolutely can't get enough of the aromatics of garlic and onion in this and the touch of truffle oil makes me feel like I'm dining at a four star restaurant. Moving forward, this is the standard for any recipe that involves pasta. You can eat it just like this, or add this step to any of your pasta recipes.
One day I was making spaghetti with meat sauce and I got to thinking about how many different ways my family loves to enjoy this meal. One prefers sauce on the side. One prefers LOTS of sauce. One doesn't like any sauce. For my one child that doesn't like sauce, it seems unfair to make them just eat noodles. That's when I thought to dress the pasta and serve the sauce separate.
This sauce is so good you just might want to eat it seperatly. Whenever I make this I am always pouring extra; the best part about this sauce is that it tastes even better the next day!

Bee Redwoman, thought of you and your love of garlic! Hope you’re getting better.
Natalie this is one of the pasta dishes I was talking about yesterday. It’s sooooo good !!!
Takes a year and a day to find the recipe not conducive to wanting to even bother .
It’s paisano
I know it is. But autocorrect does what ever it wants to.
Sent via my Samsung Galaxy, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone
If you watch “Lidia’s Kitchen” on PBS -Create you will see very similar sauces regularly.

Use the paste water it has the starch in it never oil you need starch for the sauce to stick unless your making. a garlic olive oil the cooking network is not always correct watch a real Italian cook
Linda Ehrlich Yep, I always add a little pasta water to cream and tomato sauces.
You never rinse pasta unless your making a cold pasta salad
Good to know!

oh now that looks good
It looks like most of you people are not Italian, we have spaghetti and oil with fresh garlic , fresh parsley and butter, there is a reason why it is so good but there is no recipe. At Christmas Eve I make calamari sauce with hot peppers and some eat it with the sauce. It is also just delicious with grated cheese , love it!!
Guilty as charged Lol I love plain noodles
CYNTHIA MY WONDERFUL NEIGHBOR IS ITALIAN, I’LL BELIEVE HER. WHAT YA THINK CID?????

Looks very delicious to me
I’m pretty sure I can replicate this without multiple “next page” prompts! If you’re going to share something. For the love of God…make it user friendly!
We must be related. Lol! Wasting good olive oil meant the wooden spoon. And then hugs later, but not until enough repentance time had passed.
Sounds good I’ll have to try it
this WEBSITE SUCKS — YOU CANT FIND A DAMN THING – YOU HAVE TO SCROLL – PAGE- PAGE -PAGE , THEN FIND ONE ITEM — THEN PAGE PAGE PAGE ….$#%&!@*THAT ! BLOCKING THIS$#%&!@*OFF OF MY PAGE – BYE !
Really? Leave the oil out of the water.
Never add oil to the water while boiling the pasta as when you’re ready to apply the sauce, the sauce slides off.

That looks delicious
OMGosh…yes, no oil.
You just made Lydia (‘s Kitchen) proud Russell! The ONLY thing you add to the pot is salt…oil stops the sauce from ahhering and can make the pasta mushy.
Hate sites that make you click from page to page to get to what you came there for.

I hate Recipe Station recipes!! You have to chase it from page to page and often its not even a clear cut recipe .. its all about the AD’S
Lost me at Truffle Oil.
Amen! I caught a friend of mine pouring oil in the pot and I shrieked so loudly she jumped a foot off the floor. NEVER put oil in the pot when cooking pasta.
