Our New Favorite Dessert: Pumpkin Spice Pull-Apart Bread!

Here's everything for this delectable pumpkin spice pull-apart bread. This easy recipe requires just 5 minutes of prep time.

Ingredients To Gather:

For The Pull Apart Bread:

1 tube Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 c. pumpkin purée
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

For The Cream Cheese Filling:

1/2 (4-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/4 c. milk

Directions To Follow:

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and then greasing the bottom and sides of a loaf pan. Next, make the pull-apart bread. To do this, cut the biscuits in half, and then pour the sugar and 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice into gallon-sized plastic bag. Shake the bag to combine the sugar and spice, and then drop two or three of the biscuit slices at a time into the bag. Seal the bag and shake it to make sure the slices are covered with the mixture. Repeat this process until all of the biscuits have been covered in the mixture, and then set them aside.

Now, combine the pumpkin puree, 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract in a medium-sized mixing bowl, and then slather this mixture onto one biscuit using a butter knife. Place another biscuit on top, and then cover the top of it with the pumpkin mixture. Repeat this process until there's a tower of biscuits, which can be divided into two stacks to prevent them from toppling over. Now, place the stack of biscuits on its side in the loaf pan so that the pumpkin filling is visible. Bake for between 35 and 40 minutes, or until the biscuits puff up and turn a golden brown color on top.

Next, make the cream cheese frosting. To do this, use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese until it's light and fluffy. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice, and then mix on low until combined. Slowly add the milk, mixing until the mixture is pourable. Pour this frosting over the warm pull-apart bread and then serve.

Done!

Doesn't that sound delicious? This is the kind of dessert we make when we really want to treat ourselves. It's perfect for cozying up with on a chilly autumn day, but we also like it for a special treat on a cool summer night after a long day of outdoor activities.

Happy Baking & Enjoy!

Cream cheese frosting or cream cheese filling? You have a typo.
