Popovers have been dubbed the best classic American breakfast roll and why wouldn't it be?! With its lightness and hollow core, it is a perfect partner for jams and whipped cream. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Now, we know that popovers are made using a popover pan, but really, that pan does not have any other uses and not many people have them. The best replacement would be a muffin pan and this popover recipe is specially made for muffin pans. This recipe has a lot of whisking involved and that takes a lot of time, so I would recommend that you use an electric mixer if you have one. Maybe you could even try out adding some herbs into the mix, just to add a bit more flavor; it would be an interesting change from the usual buttery taste.
