Real Spanish Gazpacho

Real Spanish Gazpacho

This summer it is not going to get any cooler and your waist line is also not going to get any slimmer if you are still hoarding food like its the winter.

Nothing is better than having this delicious Spanish dish. The aromatic, light flavors are perfect., all you have to do is throw it together and the best part of all is: add a little vodka in a glass and ladle some soup in; you now have a Bloody Mary.

You can make this dish as light or heavy as you want but the key objective is: It is not served hot so don't make it like a stew even though you may be tempted to.

Ingredients:

2 lbs ripe juicy tomatoes.
5 garlic cloves (I love garlic).
1 onion, white type not sweet. (You can also get yellow).
1 green sweet pepper.
1⁄4 teaspoon ground cumin.
1⁄2 tablespoon salt.
1/2 cup virgin olive oil.

The easiest Directions Ever:

Chop all of your vegetables up as small as possible.
Put everything in the blender and mix at high speed.
Pour into a bowl and chill in the refrigerator.

Helpful Hints:

Gazpacho can be made in various ways and a lot of people love to add lentils to it as an extra kick.

Some people serve this as an appetizer.

Yes, you really can make a mixed drink out of this but we were trying to give you a FOOD recipe and not a cocktail recipe.

You want to blend everything so that no piece can be detected.

You want this dish to be creamy and blended.

Some people chill it before they serve it but you can dive right in.

Serve with French Bread.
