Simple & Sweet: These Shortbread Cookies Hit The Spot Every Time I Make Them!

Cookies:

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons 2% milk

Directions To Follow: 

Cookies:

  1. Prepare the temperature of the oven to 325.
  2. Mix the confectioners' sugar, cornstarch, and butter until well combined.
  3. Add in the flour.
  4. Take the dough and make sure that it is evenly flattened out with the thickness of 1/4 in.
  5. Take the cookie cutter that is shaped like a tulip and start using them on the dough.
  6. After greasing the baking sheet, place the cut-out doughs on it with enough room so that they don't stick to each other when baking.
  7. Place in the oven for 7 to 9 minutes.
  8. Cool them on a wire rack.

Frosting:

  1. Mix the butter, milk, and confectioners' sugar until well blended.

  2. Decorate the cooled cookies by applying these frostings as eyes for the ghosts.
