Skip The Store-Brought & Make This Rich Homemade Sesame Tahini From Scratch

This homemade Tahini recipes makes enough for one jar but you can always double the ingredients to make as much as you like. It takes only about twenty minutes to prepare. You won't be able to resist digging right in!

The Ingredients To Gather: 

8 ounces  brown sesame seeds
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more if needed
Salt, to taste.

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread sesame seeds on a parchment-paper-lined cookie sheet, bake,  6 minutes. Mix,  respread  seeds,  return to oven  6 – 8 minutes more. Transfer seeds to separate bowl.
Add  seeds to  food processor,  grind,  1 minute, drizzle in olive oil,  continue to grind  1 – 2 minutes more, until  paste forms. If mixture is too dry, add more olive oil, 1 teaspoon at a time. Season to taste. Transfer to mason jar, store in  fridge  up to one month.
