Starbucks has been the go-to coffee shop for serious coffee lovers for several years now. What started as a small store in Seattle has now blossomed into an international phenomenon. But Starbucks, never content with the status quo, recently introduced a new version of their beloved coffee house. This upscale version is called Starbucks Reserve Roastery, and boy is it classy! Like anything upscale, however, patrons will pay more for the elite experience — as much as $50 for one 8-ounce cup of Starbucks Reserve. Say what?!
The first Starbucks Reserve opened in 2014 in Seattle, where the company is based. Now, Starbucks has announced plans to expand this undertaking further — even going global! This is really exciting and we can't wait to try this for ourselves. The company plans to open locations in New York City, Shanghai and Tokyo, and who knows where this could lead!
