Philly Cheesesteak Calzone

There Is Nothing Better Than A Rich, Authentic Philly Cheese Steak! OMG… Imagine All Of The Cheese, Onions & Steak Wrapped Up All In One?

YUM!

Let's Get Started!

Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) package refrigerated pizza dough

1 1/2 pound flank steak, sliced

1 cup American cheese, grated

1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

3/4 cup onion chopped

2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F and grease a baking sheet.
  2. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and brown meat on all sides.
  3. In the same pan, saute onions until softened. 6-8 minutes.
  4. Roll dough into a large circle and transfer to baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle majority of the cheeses evenly over half of the dough, leave a 1/2-inch border around the edge.
  6. Spread steak over the cheese; then top with onions
  7. Spread remaining cheese over.
  8. Fold the uncovered half of pizza dough over all the toppings and seal the edges.
  9. Poke some holes in the top of calzone, for the steam to escape.
  10. Brush the top of calzone with remaining olive oil, sprinkle with parsley and place in oven. Bake for 19-22 minutes.
  11. Remove and serve with marinara sauce.

Note: it’s okay if the dough doesn’t fit in/on baking sheet, as it will be folded in half.

A neat dish that keeps your hands clean, The Philly Cheesesteak Calzone is not only mess-free, but also innovative with absolute deliciousness.

This cheesy, juicy delight will involuntarily trigger the salivary glands and fill your mouth watering for hours!
