Shepherd's pie is a beloved comfort food dish served in different variations all over the world. Traditionally made with lamb or mutton, it's called cottage pie in some countries and includes slightly different ingredients than the traditional British version.

I have made this for my British friends when they visit. Love it!!
Traditionally, shepherd’s pie is made with lamb. Cottage pie is made with beef, although both are technically the same…just to clarify 😉
