Tender & Spicy Hot Wings! (Great In A Pinch)

Tender & Spicy Hot Wings! (Great In A Pinch)

It's that time again to gear up and feed the wild bunch!

I enjoy making this dish anytime but when you’re in a pinch and everyone is hungry, you can't go wrong with chicken wings!

It's quick and easy and best of all inexpensive!

Serves: 15

Ingredients:

Aluminum foil

3 pounds chicken wing drummettes, skinned (30 drummettes)

Cooking spray

3/4 cup thick hot sauce (I use Louisiana brand)

2 tablespoons cider vinegar

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (you can use reduced-sodium)

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 garlic cloves, minced

Blue Cheese Dip

30 carrot sticks

30 celery sticks

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 450°.

2. Line your cookie sheet with foil (less messy) and coat the foil with cooking spray. Place the chicken on prepared pan and sprinkle with pepper. Lightly coat chicken with cooking spray. For 7 minutes at 450°, you will need to bake the chicken uncovered, until lightly browned.

3. Combine hot sauce, cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce in a large sauce pan and simmer for about 5 minutes. Once simmered, turn heat to low.

4. In a small pan, coat with cooking spray and add the garlic. Brown and mix in with the sauces.

5. Remove chicken from pan; drain in a strainer. Place chicken in the large sauce pan and toss gently until all of the chicken is coated with sauce. Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes or until medium boil.

6. Line your cookie sheet again with fresh foil, place chicken on the pan and bake for 10 minutes at 450°.

7. Serve with Blue Cheese Dip, carrot sticks, and celery sticks.

Eat and enjoy!
