The Best Gravy You Will Have and it Only Has 5 Ingredients!

The Best Gravy You Will Have and it Only Has 5 Ingredients!

In the South, anyone can tell you there is nothing more satisfying than sitting down to the breakfast table and seeing a large helping of homemade gravy spread over fresh out of the oven biscuits! There is something about the aroma that just takes you back to the days as a kid when your mom used to make you breakfast before you spent the day running around without a care in the world.

Sure, you're older now with kids of your own, but there is no reason you can't have that delicious breakfast to kick start your weekend. It may not be as carefree, but with this dish, it won't matter because you will be so content after this breakfast that you will probably need a nap!

My boyfriend, Todd Raines, makes the best sausage gravy! He thinks I make the best biscuits. Perfect match! 🙂

You would think “Cracker Barrel” would find this easy to accomplish by now, but somehow they manage to leave the sausage, sausage drippings salt and pepper and any assemblage of flavor out of their sausage gravy.

This is basically how I make this, however, I do add a bit of dehydrated chopped onion and garlic.
