There is one meal that I have boycotted since childhood, we all have at least one! Nothing would kill my appetite faster then meat loaf. The funny thing is that once I finally tried it I realized it was not the horrid ketchup smothered and onion riddled meat I remembered.
My mother is a fantastic cook, but meat loaf just always seemed so wrong to me! I hate to admit it but I have actually grown to like meat loaf, but I like to do prepare mine a little different. Leave the layers of ketchup behind, lets gets some flavor!
There are so many variations of meat loaf. Personally I enjoy making it with a little spice, talk about mouthwatering! There is no right or wrong way to do it, as long as you and your family enjoy it! Notice I said enjoy, lets not just tolerate meat loaf, lets make it a family favorite!
