This recipe uses a mixture of goat cheese and Parmesan cheese to make it nice and creamy but if goat cheese is not to your liking, you can always use cream cheese. This recipe is made without meat but you can easily throw in some chicken if you would like.

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1/2 cup panko
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • black pepper
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 2 TBSP flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • black pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 ounces goat cheese
  • 1 cup Parmesan
  • 1/2 cup pesto
  • 1 lb. Rigatoni

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Put on salted water to boil for pasta.
  2. Combine panko, Parmesan, red pepper, salt, black pepper in bowl. Stir in butter, set aside.
  3. Melt butter over medium-low heat. Add flour, salt, pepper, whisking until bubbly Add milk, whisking until combined.
  4. Continue whisking until milk comes to boil.
  5. Cook, stir one minute, until sauce is thickened.
  6. Reduce heat to low, whisk in goat cheese, Parmesan until smooth.
  7. Keep sauce over low heat, stirring, until pasta is ready.
  8. Boil pasta for about 9 minutes, until al dente Drain.
  9. Return pasta to pot, pour sauce over, stir to combine.
  10. Place in prepared dish, sprinkle the topping on.
