This fantastic slow cooker Salisbury steak recipe uses Italian bread crumbs but if you all you have on hand is regular, you can use those instead.

This takes about four to five hours to make in the slow cooker but it will smell so wonderful your mouth will be watering long before you take that first bite!

Let's Get Started…

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 packet dried onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Drizzle of canola/vegetable oil
  • 2 cans cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can of water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of Kitchen Bouquet
  • Pepper

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Combine ground beef, onion, onion soup mix, bread crumb, milk.
  2. Form into patties.
  3. Preheat a skillet on medium high heat, drizzle with oil.
  4. Place patties in skillet, sear both sides.

The Additional Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Put the patties in your crock pot or slow cooker.
  2. Then, add the soup, water, and Kitchen Bouquet seasoning to the pan that was used for the meat.
  3. Decrease the heat to medium until it starts bubbling.
  4. Pour the sauce over the meat in the slow cooker.
  5. Cook the meat on low five hours.
