  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chunks

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Combine first two ingredients.
  2. Blend 1/3 cup melted butter.
  3. Add boiling water.
  4. Add sugar, eggs, butter. Add flour, vanilla, salt.
  5. Add pecans, chocolate.
    Bake 35-40 minutes at 350°

Serve & Enjoy!

I have a problem with the amount of butter is it 1/3 or 2/3 cup, in your ingredients is 2/3cup but when you mix the ingredients is only 1/3cup?

Hi Chayo! Good catch. This is actually from our friend’s site. We’ve asked her, and it should be just 1/3 cup in the ingredients and the directions 🙂 sorry about the confusion
