Let's Get Started…
Ingredients To Gather:
- 2 full racks pork baby back ribs
- One 1-inch piece of ginger, sliced thin
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 cup Hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp. Chinese five-spice powder
- 3 Tbsp. light brown sugar
Step By Step Directions To Follow:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Boil water in a large pot. Add ribs, ginger, and garlic. Bring back to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes. Turn off heat. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Combine Hoisin sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, five-spice powder and brown sugar in a sauce pan. Heat until sugar is dissolved and sauce is smooth and thick. Reduce for 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Drain ribs. Pat dry with paper towels. Line a 36-inch x 18-inch rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Put ribs on prepared baking sheet. Brush with marinade.
- Roast in oven for 30 minutes. Baste marinade over ribs with a brush every 15 minutes.
