This Dish Is Very Similar To Pot Roast But It's Even Better Because It Uses A Few Special Ingredients….
When you come from a German background sauerkraut, sausage, and potatoes are a given. When the sauerkraut is cooked enough to be tender but still has that lightly sour taste and the potatoes are boiled long enough to almost fall a part when a fork cuts into them – perfection!
Now, in the past we’ve always cooked these items separately – and with pleasure we might add – but the recipe on page two allows you to toss them together in a crockpot … along with a delicious Polish sausage!
The sausage adds a scrumptious meaty addition that, along with the potatoes and kraut, allows for a delicious punch! The sausage’s texture, a firm outer casing and a marvelous inner beefy consistency is superb!
