Now That We Realize They're Gone…We're a Little Sad About It!
Most of our favorite fast food restaurants have a tried-and-true menu that's stayed pretty much the same all these years. In fact, that's one reason why we like these eateries. We know exactly what we're going to get, and we have something we know we can count on when we're hungry and need a hot, fast meal. However, to stay competitive these fast food chains also have to introduce new menu items to outshine their competitors and attract new customers.
Some of these new items are big hits and stay on the menu permanently, while others disappear after a few months or even years because they're not very popular or even because they caused a little controversy. McDonald's has introduced several new items over the years, but many of them have faded into obscurity after a while. What's really sad is we didn't even notice they'd been discontinued!
