These Garlic Mustard & Maple Chili Beef Skewers Are Incredible – You Have To See How We Made The Marinade!

This recipe makes enough for about four to six servings but if you need them for a party, you can just double or triple the recipe to make more. You can serve these as a delicious main course or an appetizer or any other way that you prefer, the possibilities are endless.

They take a while to prepare about an hour and twenty minutes but they only take about two minutes to cook and they are so good that all your effort will be worth it.

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1- 1.25 pounds of skirt steak
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ⅓ cup grainy mustard
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ⅓ cup parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • wooden skewers

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Slice steak in half so you have two shorter lengths. Then on a bias, slice the meat against the grain into thin strips.
  2. Combine all of the marinade ingredients and then stir to combine well.
  3. Add the steak strips to the marinade and then stir to coat all of the meat with the marinade.
  4. Refrigerate for at least an hour and up to 8 hours.
  5. Preheat the Grill to high heat.
  6. Thread the strips of steak with a wooden skewer and set aside.
  7. Turn the heat on the grill down to medium and then place the skewers of steak on the grill.
  8. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side and then immediately remove from the grill.
