There is a common misconception that Pecan Bars should be served only during the holidays… well, let me put an end to that horrible ‘tradition.'

Pecans are delicious any time of year…, especially in a pie!

But a lot of people do not want to slice a pie and have to use a fork… that's why you can make the same thing but in a cookie form!

These Pecan Bars are a little bit harder than a pie because they are more condensed with nuts and have a thicker base.

The top portion is also drizzled with caramel sauce which gives it a richer taste.

You can server these little puppies up anytime of year and take them on the go with you as they are a great source of protein.

Oh… and the best part about these Pecan Bars is that they take about half the time to make than the traditional pie you have every year during the holidays!
