These Roasted & Toasted Pumpkin Seeds Will Get Us Ready For The Fall In No Time!

Don't even sweat on buying excess ingredients! This recipe does not require anything else except those three materials listed below! Unbelievable, right?

Ingredients To Gather Up: 

  • One medium sized pumpkin
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

METHOD:

  1. Place the seeds in a colander and rinse with water
  2. Place the seeds in a medium saucepan.
  3. Add water (2 cups) and salt (1 tbsp) to the pan for every half cup of pumpkin seeds.
  4. Bring to a boil. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and drain.
  5. Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat the bottom of a roasting pan or thick baking sheet with olive oil.
  6. Spread the seeds out over the roasting pan in a single layer and toss them a bit to coat them with the oil on the pan.
  7. Bake on the top rack until the seeds begin to brown. 5-20 minutes, depending on the size of the seeds.

Everyone has different taste palates, so one might prefer their seeds to be a bit more salty. No problem at all! Simply add few more pinches of salt while cooking! Keep in mind that the time range big because some seeds are relatively smaller than other seeds; therefore, it might only take 5 minutes or if it's bigger than average seeds, it might even take up to 20 minutes!
