These Tender P.F. Chang Inspired Ribs Will Change The Way You Use Your Slow-Cooker

Everybody loves traditional wings, but what happens when you add a little Oriental Spice into the mix and really get things cooking! With ingredients like Chinese five spice powder, this recipe will have you in the kitchen making this delicious dish for your friends and family again and again!

Here Are The Ingredients To Gather: 

  • 2 tablespoons Chinese five spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt or 2 teaspoons table salt
  • 4 pounds spare-ribs or baby back ribs
  • 1/2 cup water

The Simple Step By Step Directions To Follow: 

First whisk your Chinese five spice powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl.

Then cut the rack of ribs into 2 or 3 different sections and rub the ribs with the seasoning.

Pour water into the your slow cooker and cook the ribs on low for six hours.

If you don't have a slow cooker, you can use the oven (300 degrees).

Bake for 1 hour then cover with foil. Continue cooking for 1-2 hours more until the rib meat is tender.

Then preheat oven broiler on high. Broil cooked ribs until crispy. This part should take no longer than 3-4 minutes.
