You can make this marinade ahead of time and then cook the ribs later if you need to save some time. These take about eight hours to soak because the ribs have to soak up all that sweet and spicy marinade.
Let's Get Started!
The Ingredients To Gather:
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 can Dr. Pepper
- 1 can Chipotle Peppers Packed In Adobo
- 1/3 cup Brown Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon White Vinegar
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 packages Pork Baby Back Ribs
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
- Boil first 6 ingredients in saucepan until reduced, thick, 20 minutes. Allow to cool completely. Divide into two containers, refrigerate one container for later.
- Place ribs on baking sheet with foil. Brush half marinade all over ribs on both sides.
- Cover with foil refrigerate 8 hours.
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Place pan, into oven, 2 hours. Remove the foil, increase temperature to 300.
- Using other half of sauce, brush another layer all over ribs. Return pan to oven, continue cooking 30 to 40 minutes, brushing on another layer of sauce as it cooks.
Serve & Enjoy!
