Game day never looked so good. Having a twice baked potato casserole will really up the level of your snack spread, and is guaranteed to be a touchdown. A little dance in the end zone is highly encouraged.
Things You Will Need:
-
2 large baking potatoes
-
1/2 pound lean bacon
-
3/4 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
-
1/2 cup sour cream
-
1/4 cup milk
-
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
-
1 teaspoon dried chives
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
-
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
-
3/4 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
How To Prepare:
- Cook your bacon (crumble after) and bake your potatoes.
- Grease your casserole dish.
- Scoop out the insides of your bakers, place into a mixing bowl, and discard the skin. Combine 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese, sour cream, milk, butter, chives, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder with potato filling and mix well.
- Spoon mixture into casserole dish and top with shredded cheese and your crumbled bacon.
- Bake in a preheated oven of 400 degrees F, for around 15 minutes, or until bubbly.
Note: One of the best things about serving casseroles at parties is that they tend to stay warm longer because you can serve them right in the pan you baked them in. You don't have to worry about it getting cold right away because of this.
