The Ingredients To Gather:
1 loaf of cinnamon swirl bread
6 eggs
2 cups half and half milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons of rum (optional)
3/4 cups walnuts
3/4 cups raisins
1/8 teaspoon of salt
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
1. Cube bread, leave it out overnight so it goes stale.
2. Coat slow cooker with cooking spray, place bread in it, covering its base.
3. Combine eggs, half and half, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, rum. Whisk, pour mixture over bread cubes, making sure they're completely covered.
4. Sprinkle walnuts, raisins over mixture, cook 3-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.
