We Make This Cake A Few Times a Month!
We typically associate cookies and cream with ice cream, but there are tons of ways to use cookies and cream to liven up pretty much any dessert or other treats, including iced coffee! We're partial to this cookies and cream sheet cake, however, because it's incredibly rich, creamy and decadent. We love it for birthday parties, but we've also served it at a baby and bridal showers, for anniversary dinners and even for office parties. Of course, you don't need a special occasion to make this cake. It's quick and easy enough that you can make it for dessert even on busy weeknights.
It has an enticing frosting made from butter, heavy cream, sugar and vanilla, and the crunchy crushed Oreo on cookies on top perfectly balance out the smooth and rich flavor and texture of the cake. Yum! One thing we really like about this cake is that it's a big hit among both kids and adults, making it ideal for when you need to please a diverse crowd. Yum!
