This Easy Recipe For Sesame Beef & Rice Was The Easiest Thing We Ever Made In Our Crock Pot!

This truly wonderful Sesame beef makes enough for six servings but you can always double the ingredients if you want more for another meal or two. If you don't prefer beef, this recipe can be made using chicken or pork instead. It takes about five hours in the slow cooker on high and seven to eight hours on low.

Let's Get Started!

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 2 pounds lean beef roast
  • 1 onion
  • 2 TBS soy sauce
  • 2 TBS dark sesame oil
  • 1 TBS ketchup
  • 1 TBS brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 TBS rice wine vinegar
  • 2 inch knob of fresh ginger
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 TBS cold water
  • 1 TBS cornstarch
  • green onions (optional)

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Cut beef into chunks, about 4, add to cooker. Sprinkle onion over beef.
  2. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, ketchup, brown sugar, sriracha, rice wine vinegar, ginger, garlic, half of sesame seeds.
  3. Pour over beef, onions. Cover, cook on high 5 hours, low 7-8 hours.
  4. Mix cold water, cornstarch to make slurry. Remove beef.
  5. Add cornstarch slurry to cooker, cover, cook on high 30 minutes. Shred beef.

Additional Directions To Follow:

  • When the sauce is thick, place beef in slow cooker again and stir to make sure it gets nice and coated.
