This French Onion Chicken & Rice Casserole Is Hearty Enough To Feed A Small Army

One of the things I love most about casseroles is how simple they are to make! Normally, there are no special tools, no fancy ingredients (unless you so choose) just a lot of good down home cooking!

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9×13-inch pan with nonstick spray. Set aside.

In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add instant rice, cover and turn off heat. Allow to stand for 5 minutes, until all water is absorbed.

In a large bowl, combine chicken, chicken soup, French onion dip, cheddar cheese, chicken broth and cooked rice. Spread into prepared pan. Top with French’s fried onions.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

See, super simple! I can also tell you that this dish is fabulous! Savory and creamy it hits the spot every time!

Is it healthy? Can you include it for weight loss?
