This HERSHEY’S Chocolate Walnut Pie Just Might Have YOU Whipped!

This HERSHEY’S Chocolate Walnut Pie Just Might Have YOU Whipped!

So what, you could gain a few pounds?! It's winter. You can stand to add a few. I mean, look at this pie. Who can resist? Who can turn down something so rich and delicious?

What You Need:

  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
  • 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon imitation maple flavor
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

Let's get this party started:

  1. You're going to want to preheat that oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt the butter over low heat, stirring the cocoa in oh-so-smoothly.
  3. Stir in the condensed milk, throwing in the eggs and water.
  4. Beat the batter with a whisk until it's well-blended.
  5. Remove the heat, and then stir in the vanilla… maple flavor and those yummy walnuts.
  6. Now, even though you want to eat the batter… we need you to pour it into a pastry shell.
  7. Bake 40 to 45 minutes — or until the center is set. You will need to let it cool a little bit to make sure it sets.
  8. Add toppings and garnish, as desired.

Now, they say that this dessert will serve 8. But, then again, they have to stay within the “health guidelines” and abide by the food pyramid, counting calories and all of that. Truthfully, this is Hershey's. Do we really care?! Most likely, this will serve just four good friends, who will fight over who gets the biggest two pieces! Ladies, chocolate is GREAT for you. It's a brain food. It's a pain killer. It's an aphrodisiac. It's all yours! Enjoy.
