This Homemade Blueberry Cobbler Makes Us Feel A Little Nostalgic!

It Looks and Tastes Like You Spent All Day in the Kitchen…But It's Surprisingly Easy to Make!

Really nothing beats a good old-fashioned, stick-to-your-ribs cobbler, especially blueberry, with its slightly sweet, slightly tangy flavor. And then, of course, there's the flaky, savory crust and the contrast of some ice-cold ice vanilla ice cream to complement all of the other flavors. Yum! It's a dessert that kind of reminds us of spending chilly winter days at Grandma's house, and we've looked high and low for a blueberry cobbler recipe that tastes like we remember.

Well, we're thrilled to say that we found it with this one! It tastes like the home-cooked, made-from-scratch cobbler we remember, but it's a lot easier to make. One reason is that it uses drop biscuits instead of the traditional biscuit that you roll out with a rolling pin. This saves time and, because it doesn't have to be as precise, it's a lot more flexible and ideal for people who are not experienced. It also has fresh lemon juice, along with just a bit of gin, for an unexpected but delicious flavor.
