This Is One Of Our Must Try Recipes: These Tantalizing Pork Chops Are Infused With Sherry & Rosemary

Here's everything you need for these enticing pork chops. For enhanced flavor, we recommend seasoning them with salt and pepper to taste before serving them.

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

Directions To Follow:

  1. Start by mixing the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley and salt and pepper in a small bowl and then dredging each pork chop in this mixture.
  2. Heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet and use this to saute the chops for between 4 and 5 minutes on each side or until browned.
  3. Add the chicken broth, sherry and rosemary, and then spread the sliced onion over the chops.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and simmer covered for 10 minutes.
  5. Finally, flip the chops and let the onion fall into the liquid.
  6. Put the cover back on and continue to simmer, this time for 5 minutes or until the meat reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit degrees inside.

And that's it! For such a hearty dish these pork chops are surprisingly easy to make. We like this pork chop recipe because it goes well with everything from a dinner salad to a veggie side dish and a generous helping of mashed potatoes. Yum!
