We Wouldn't Have Believed This If We Hadn't Seen It For Ourselves!
The 2016 presidential race may have been one of the most outrageous and rowdy ones in recent history. There have been scandals galore from both sides, as well as several over-the-top comments and incredible accusations. However, at the recent presidential debate, there was an unusual incident that managed to take the attention off the two candidates for a short time.
This happened when Ken Bone, a 34-year-old factory worker and former Christian rock band drummer clad in a cardigan and wearing glasses, stood up and asked a very genuine, sincere question about how the candidates would handle energy policies, keeping in mind both the environment and the workers that depend on this industry for their jobs. He then proceeded to take photos of the candidates with his disposable camera. (Cell phones were not allowed at the debate.) Viewers were so moved about his mild-mannered demeanor and sincere question that they immediately declared he won the debate. His viral fame is still going strong, with one restaurant even creating an entire menu named after him!
