This Oven Baked BBQ Chicken Has A Secret Ingredient In The Sauce That Really Packs A Punch

You can use any barbecue sauce that you love, any chicken you want and you can leave the hot sauce out. It only takes about five minutes to prepare and about an hour to roast in the oven but the chicken will definitely be worth the wait!

Let's Get Started!

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 3 cups  BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Peach Preserves
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Hot Sauce, Optional
  • 12  Chicken Thighs
  • Olive Oil For Brushing

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Combine BBQ sauce, peach preserves, garlic, hot sauce,  heat over medium heat for 5-10 minutes.  Set aside.
  2. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES.
  3. Drizzle olive oil on  baking sheets,  place chicken thighs skin side down in t pans. Roast  25 minutes. Remove from oven briefly, brush sauce all over  thighs, flip them over to the other side.
  4. Brush  tops with more sauce , return to  oven for 7 minutes. Remove from oven, brush on more sauce,  return to  oven for another 7 minutes. Remove from oven, brush on sauce,  turn up temperature to 425 degrees.
  5. Continue roasting for another 5 – 7 minutes. Remove from  oven,  let sit for  10 minutes.
