This PP&J Bread Pudding French Toast Is One Delicious Mouthful

Here's everything required for these luscious PB&J french toast sandwiches. This recipe requires just 15 minutes of prep time and 15 minutes of cooking time.

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 6 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 6 tablespoons mixed berry jam
  • 12 slices challah bread
  • 1 cup milk 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry-flavored liqueur
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, or as needed

Directions To Follow:

  1. Start by spreading 1 tbsp. of peanut butter and 1 tpsp. of jam onto one side of six of the slices of bread.
  2. Place another slice on top to make a sandwich.
  3. Next, combine the milk, eggs, sugar, raspberry-flavored liqueur, and vanilla extract in a bowl and whisk until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Then, dip each sandwich into the egg mixture and turn so that both sides are coated.
  5. Finally, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and then cook the sandwiches for between 3 and 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Finished!

We love how this recipe gives a little twist to the standard PB&J sandwich. We love this sandwich for lunch but it also makes a great snack, especially for anyone who has a sweet tooth and is craving something a little on the sweet side.

Happy Baking & Enjoy!
