We Bet You’ve Never Had Sweet Potatoes Made Like This Before!

Here's everything you need to make these savory sweet potato wedges with honey chipotle dipping sauce. The wedges taste great all on their own, but it's the dipping sauce that really makes them extra special!

Ingredients to Gather

4 to 5 sweet potatoes
7 Tablespoons olive oil
4 teaspoons sugar
1 Tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon thyme
½ teaspoon sage
½ teaspoon basil

For the Honey Chipotle Dipping Sauce:

½ cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons honey
¼ teaspoon chipotle seasoning

Directions to Follow

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Line cookie sheet with foil.
Peel potatoes. Cut the potatoes in half and then in half again and depending how large they are half again. Spread potatoes over the cookie sheet.
In a small mixing bowl, combine olive oil, sugar, salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, sage and basil. Mix well.
Using a pastry brush, brush oil mixture all over the potatoes. Toss the potatoes to make sure they are evenly coated.

Now, bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. After this, turn the broiler up to high and bake until crispy, usually another 3 to 4 minutes. Finally, make the dipping sauce by combining the sauce ingredients and mixing well.

Wow! These bite-sized sweet potato wedges are loaded with big, big flavor! They're definitely one of our new favorite snack foods, and we plan to serve them every time we have friends or family over. Delicious!

This recipe looks good, but it says to preheat the oven to 450° and the instructions say to bake at 350°.
