We Call This BBQ’d Brisket Our ‘Lazy Recipe’ Because It Only Requires Six Ingredients. The Results? Delicious!

You can use whatever kind of barbecue that you prefer for this recipe. It takes about four hours to cook and then needs to refrigerate overnight before grilling.

Let's Get Started!

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 beef brisket
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 l onion
  • Prepared barbecue sauce

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Trim brisket of excess fat.
  3. Season brisket on both sides with smoked paprika, pepper, salt.
  4. Place onions in pan, place brisket, fat side up, on top of onions, roast uncovered f1 hour.
  5. Remove pan, wrap tightly with foil.
  6. Place in oven, reduce heat to 325 degrees F.
  7. Cook 3 more hours.
  8. Cool, refrigerate, still wrapped overnight.
  9. Reheat over grill 15 minutes per side.
  10. Brush with barbecue sauce for the last 5 minutes of cooking to get glaze.
