This pancake recipe makes enough for about four servings but you can always double the ingredients if you want more. They take about thirty-five minutes total to make.

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 cup  flour
  • 1/3 cup  pistachios
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2  eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons  pistachios
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Combine  flour, pistachios, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt. Whisk until combined. In  smaller bowl, whisk  eggs, milk, vanilla extract,  butter. Add  wet ingredients to the dry, mixing until smooth, combined.
  2. Heat skillet or electric griddle over medium heat. Add a bit of butter if desired,  pour 1/4 cup of batter on  skillet,  repeat, leaving an inch between pancakes. Cook until tpancakes bubble on the top and edges,  2 minutes. Flip, cook for another minute or two until golden. Top  pancakes with pistachio butter , syrup.
  3. Whisk  butter,  pistachios until combined. You can use it just like this or place it in the fridge to harden a bit.
  4. Heat  butter over medium heat in  saucepan, whisking constantly.
  5. Cook until it bubbles and the brown bits appear on the bottom  4 – 5 minutes,  then quickly stir in  vanilla bean paste, remove it from the heat. While warm, stir  into the maple syrup.
