We Just Made Julia Childs Signature Beef Stroganoff Recipe & Couldn’t Believe It Took 30 Minutes

Well, Beef Stroganoff never lasts more than a day for us cause we eat it right off the stove but it always tastes better, when it’s left to marinate over night but few ever have this opportunity.

Let’s Roll Up Our Sleeves Shall We?

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles, cooked and drained

  • 6 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef

  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 cup sour cream

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook egg noodles.

  2. In a large skillet, cook mushrooms and onions in 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

  3. Using the same pan, melt remaining butter. Cook ground beef in melted butter until browned. Mix in flour.

  4. Stir in beef broth, and cook until slightly thickened.

  5. Add mushroom and onion mixture; stir in sour cream. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
