Here's everything for this delectable Maple Bacon Soda pulled pork. Coca-cola can be substituted for the Maple Bacon Soda.
Here Is What You Need:
Ingredients To Gather:
- One 5-6 lb. pork butt roast
- 1 bottle Maple Bacon Soda
- 1 onion
- Salt and pepper
- BBQ sauce (if desired)
Directions To Follow:
Start by slicing the onion into medium-sized wedges and then putting them in the bottom of the crock pot. Next, season the pork roast on all sides with the salt and pepper and place in the crock pot, on top of the onions. Now, pour the Maple Bacon Soda over the roast and cook for between 4 and 5 hours on high heat or 6 to 7 hours on low heat. Cook until the meat is tender enough to be shredded with a fork. Finally, shred with a fork and add the barbecue sauce and place on buns to make a sandwich or top with potato for a savory main course.

This sweet and savory pulled pork is incredibly easy to make and is the perfect filling for a nice hearty lunch sandwich. However, it's versatile enough to use in any number of other dishes as well.
