Who Needs The Grill? We Made This Barbecue Chicken Right In The Oven & The Results Were Incredible

This barbecue chicken makes enough for about twelve servings but you can always cut the recipe in half if you don't want that much. It takes about five minutes to prepare and about an hour to roast.

Let's Get Started!

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 3 cups BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Peach Preserves
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Hot Sauce, Optional
  • 12  Chicken Thighs
  • Olive Oil For Brushing

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Combine BBQ sauce, peach preserves, garlic, hot sauce in saucepan, heat over medium heat 5-10 minutes, or until nice and hot. Set aside.
  2. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES.
  3. Drizzle olive oil on 2 baking sheets,  place chicken thighs skin side down in  pans. Roast  25 minutes. Remove from oven briefly, brush sauce all over  thighs,  use a spatula to flip them over to the other side, being careful not to tear the skin. Brush  tops with more sauce, return to  oven for 7 minutes. Remove from oven, brush on more sauce, return to  oven for another 7 minutes. Remove from oven, brush on sauce,  turn up  temperature to 425 degrees.
  4. Continue roasting for another 5 – 7 minutes, or until the sauce is starting to brown around the edges and the thighs are totally cooked through. Remove from  oven, let sit for at least 10 minutes.
