Why Make A Regular Old Boring Potato When There Is A Recipe That Makes Them 10 Times Better?

Get geared up to be the most popular person in the house when this delicious entree is introduced the family. There are just a few ingredients needed and a few simple directions to follow then you're tastebuds will be in heaven. This recipe serves 6, but I'm sure you'll be tempted to double it the next time around seeing how delicious these are.

Here Is What You Need…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 6 large russet potatoes
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup green onions
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • Sour Cream
  • Green Onions

Directions To Follow:

1. Preheat the grill to 400˚F
2. Poke a few holes around the potato then wrap in aluminium foil and place on the grill to cook for 20 minutes over direct heat.
3. Mix half of the cheddar cheese (1 ½ cups), cream cheese, and green onions until well-combined.
4. Unwrap the potato and cut off the ends so that it will stand up.
5. Carve out the center of the potato, being careful not to make the walls too thin, and to leave a bit of thickness at the bottom as well.
6. Fill the potato with the cheese mixture and wrap 2 slices of bacon around the potato. Secure the bacon with toothpicks if necessary.
7. Lower the temperature to about 350˚F and place potatoes over indirect heat for 30 minutes with the lid closed.
8. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and cook for another 15 minutes, then add garnishes.
