However, some of these things we have always used for cooking, may be actually harmful to your health including using foil to wrap your food in. Yes, that is right. Regular old aluminum foil – the silver stuff that has been around for generations.
Now, your mouth is probably hanging open in shock and we don't blame you, we were pretty shocked when we found out too. We know this habit will be hard to break but when you find out how harmful it can actually be, you may never use it again!
Actually, aluminum foil has been linked to cancer, brain tumors and a plethora of other issues. This stuff is really not that good for you and if you use it, for whatever reason, you need to stop.

If I read this right. Aluminum is present in our cooking pots and pans our utensils , herbs and spices , ext.. But we just need to toss the foil and we will be okay? Sounds a little fishy to me? Why eliminate one but not the other?

Better tell the restaurants
Few years ago we were told to stop using aluminum pans for cooking. Boiling potatoes using aluminum pans you can see funny looking scum.
I use cast iron and stainless steel. Wrap potatoes in paper towel using some olive oil and microwave. So do as you want. When knows. I don’t use aluminum in cooking.

I have heard this before when I worked at nursing home. They say the aluminum causes some kind of chemical when exposed to heat.
Don’t toss the foil. Just not cook with it.

I bake my potatoes in a pan or on the rack with salt on them. Come out great. The only reason I don’t use Aluminum foils is I don’t like the moisture that forms.

Aluminum is in ever thing, I did a ladies hair that has Parkinson’s for 40 years she didn’t even Shake I asked her how she got along so good she said she was in a test when she first got there and the doctor told her do you not use aluminum foil on anything no cooking with it ,and dont use anything with aluminum in it work for her
Read where I should throw away plastic wrap because it is wasteful junk and now don’t use aluminum foil. Guess we had best go back to old ways of using time savers.
