McDonald's is always trying to come up with new and exciting things to get people inside their faced-paced stores but this time they may have gone a little too far.
Remember when a bunch of people in the fast-food industry started to complain about only being paid minimum wage for a job that only required basic skills?
Well, this McDonald's in Arizona had enough of the drama and did something that took everyone by surprise!
They invested in Robots to take orders and make the food, thus eliminating the need for any employees. Well, there are still a few for operational maintenance but they do not need to do much.
Now McDonald's managers do not have to worry about employees calling in sick, taking leave, doing a poor job or any other mischief that comes with hiring young people.
You'll never believe what these robots are capable of; it's insane! This phenomenon is also starting to spread from chain to chain so we know these robotic employees are going to start coming to other stores really soon.

Aren’t these the same robots that run over children’s feet, knock children down and bump into customers because they can’t see everything in every direction all the time.
So basically these robots will be trusted to prepare the food in this establishment. Will they also be required to wash their hands / whatever they prepare and cook the food with. Will they be required to clean up after themselves if they spill or drop something. Who pays for the items they destroy.
Yup. It’s a perfect world. Lay off all the employees at this location and give it a week. You will be begging for employees again.
If anything,hopefully they will be better than the employees they hire,, McDonald’s is one of the worst for customer service,,,,

These people are not stupid. Their shareholders (of which I an one) fully expect and demand that they maximize return on all capital investment. McD greatest expense is wages.

Bullshit headline. Variable cost is labor and any business seeks to reduce labor costs. Using automation is not new and it’s not due to the workers….it’s due to the business reducing costs associated with labor expenses

I wouldn’t go there just like I refuse shopping the self serve only groceries. I once left $350 worth of food at a grocery store cart who would not check me out at 10:10 at night bet the manager and two or three employees who were doing nothing at the time had fun putting my groceries back. It included a big ice cream cake.
The minimum wage should go up and I appreciate fast food servers, it’s not a job I want. There is bad workers in every job. I worked at UWM and they employ a lot of elites with Doctorate degrees that are dumber than a box of rocks. Just saying lol

How is this different from sending American jobs to other countries. I didn’t realize that giving your employees a fair wage was going to bankrupt this company but they do have the money to pay for robotics, etc.
Just pisses me off. Maybe they don’t deserve $15 an hour but we all have to live today. Let’s see what Mr. Trump is going to do about people being unemployed because of our miracle age.we now have check out you can do yourself putting more people out of a job which I refuse to go to.
