You Won’t Believe How Easy & Delicious This Slow Cooker Sheppard Pie Recipe Is!

You can use any kind of meat you want for this dish, beef, chicken, turkey or even lamb. It makes enough for about four servings but you can always double the ingredients if you want enough to enjoy it again the next day. It only takes about fifteen to prepare but about four or five hours to cook.

The Ingredients To Gather: 

  • 1lb ground beef
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 bag frozen vegetables
  • 4 cups water
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 pouches mashed potatoes
  • Chopped fresh herbs if desired

The Step By Step Directions To Follow: 

  1. Cook beef over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until browned; drain.
  2. Stir in soup, garlic powder, salt, pepper.
  3. Spread mixture in bottom of cooker. Top with frozen vegetables.
  4. Heat water and butter to a rapid boil. Remove from heat; stir in milk and dry potatoes until just combined. Let stand 1 minute, stir again. Spread top of vegetables.
  5. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 4 to 5 hours.
