I love discussing this sort of topic because it seems that the outcome of what should and should not go in the freezer really depends on where and how you grew up.
The best part of a freezer is being able to keep foods fresher longer so that cake that you made that is simply to die for does not have to go to waste simply because you couldn’t eat it all. Simply freeze it (properly of course) and thaw it out at a later date. This not only allows you to enjoy the food but saves you money in the long run as it cuts down on needless food waste.
