I never was much of a pie baker. My grandmother seemed to have it down to a science but not me. For some reason, the crust always came out odd. I never could figure out what I was doing wrong so I gave up and moved on to other things.
Then about a month ago a friend sent me this and told me I should try it. I put it aside for awhile because the thought of baking a pie crust didn't interest me but then I had a function to go to and what did they ask me to bring….pie.
So now I had to decide if I was going to buy one from the store on the way to the event, purchase the pie crust and semi make the pie or if I would break down and try again. So a few days before the event I broke down and tried again and guess what. This time it came out wonderful!!
When a pie is baked perfectly, it is sweet, savory and the crust just melts in your mouth. This is because a truly divine pie crust will be browned just right and will look and taste like it is worthy of a first place blue ribbon. However, getting homemade pie crust to turn out just like that can be very frustrating.
This is the very reason most people buy pre-made pie crusts from the store. However, if you really want to bake a pie and you are sadly all out of pie crusts, don’t panic. You can just make this foolproof easy pie crust out of two basic yet surprising ingredients you already have in your cabinet.
So what I have done is compiled the information for you on the next page so you too can have a GREAT pie crust.

I hope I have the time to do this again!

You shouldn’t show a rolled out pie crust in this post. This crust may be good, but you don’t roll it out.
