We Can't Think of a Better Way to Start the Morning!
Many of us think of chocolate cake as a special treat to be savored, something to top off a nice hearty meal, or maybe to occasionally reward ourselves. But it's something that's purely for indulging in, not for making a regular part of your diet, right? That long-held conception may just be wrong, and as chocoholics, we couldn't be happier! This new and very shocking information comes from two new studies. The first, from Syracuse University in New York, suggests that eating chocolate regularly enhances cognitive performance, memory and abstract thinking. We'll take two slices, please!
The study followed 968 people between the ages of 23 and 98, and we have to say, with so many people showing positive results, we definitely think there's something there…and we'd be happy to be test subjects for any future studies! As intriguing as this study is, there's another one that's even more fascinating. It suggests that not only is eating chocolate good for you but that perhaps you should have it for breakfast!
