Easiest Crock Pot Roast Recipe Ever

Easiest Crock Pot Roast Recipe Ever

This crock pot roast recipe is not only the easiest one you will find but it is also the most delicious one I have ever tasted. Plus I love how you can vary the dry packaged ingredients by trying Au Jus instead of brown gravy or even skip the Italian mix all together if you like things a little less spicy.

It's easy because all the seasoning you need can be bought in those simple dry packaged seasoning mixes.

This delicious roast takes probably 3 minutes of preparation – which I really like!

Anyway, on to the recipe…

skip the italian seasoning and water; plop a stick of butter on top before you put on the lid…..that’s the BEST I’ve ever made or eaten.

I make this all the time, but my recipe calls for 2 1/2 c. water. Also I brown the roast a few minutes on each side in olive oil before putting in crock pot. Mix the three envelopes in the water and pour over the meat. Cook for the 6 or 8 hrs. in the crock pot. Second day is hot beef sandwiches. This meat is so tender when done.

I was wondering if you need to brown the meat before putting in the crock pot? Would the meat taste better that way when I’m ready to eat it?

It is the best recipe ever. Add potatoes, carrots and onion to absorb some of the salt in the packages. My recipe says two cups of water. I microwave water to a boil, then add the three packages, pouring over everything in the slow cooker. AWESOME !!!! And easy.

Instead of gravy mix use a can of cream of mushroom soup with the dry onion soup mix…add a little water…
