Make sure that you use a large baking pan and make sure to have a run-off pan underneath incase there is an accident.
Here Are The Rest Of The Steps…
- You'll be surprised by the next step, you actually don't pre heat your oven.
- Which is seriously one of the best parts of this technique, because I simply don't have enough patience for preheating.
- Pop your bacon in the cold oven, and turn it on to 400 degrees. Set a timer for seventeen minutes and come back when the timer goes off.
- After your timer goes off, your bacon should basically be perfectly cooked. It should display a golden brown look and not excessively crispy.
- Transfer your bacon to paper towels to drain excessive oil traps on pieces of bacon.
Finished!
Note: We absolutely love that it seriously only takes one step. Pop it in a cold oven, set a timer, and then eat said perfectly cooked bacon.
Enjoy!

LIKE MINE DONE ON COOKIE SHEET IN OVEN.
I can’t even get it out of the package without it shredding and falling apart! No hope for me!
My mom told me this many years ago!

I put my bacon on a cookie cooling rack. It helps the fat drip into the pan below.
My husband cooks it in a fry pan and I cook it on a rack inside a cookie sheet lined with foul in the oven for about 22 minutes for thick bacon at 400 degrees.
Skillet. Low. 4 mins each side. DONE. Crunchy. No shrinkage.

Put water in the frying pan and boil the bacon until the water evaporates. This renders the fat. Continue frying on medium heat until crispy. Viola… perfect bacon everytime
Just wondering, so I can try, how much water? Just a few tablespoons, or do you put enough to cover the bacon? Thanks for the info.
Just enough to cover the bacon. If you use too much it takes a long time and we all want that bacon sooner rather than later, right? LOL
